Domain.com has exceeded the max emails per hour. Message discarded.
Article If you have received a message telling you you've exceed your maximum number of emails allowed per hour, then you have probably done just that. :)  We have a limit in place (currently set to 300/hour) to prevent overloading the server and also limit the amount of potential damage should a Spammer ever get on our servers. Your email was only sent to the first 300 addresses. The rest were discarded and will not be delivered.

If you need to send a one-time mailing to more than 300 contacts, then you could just send to the first 300, wait an hour, and send to the rest. However, if this is something you plan on doing more than a few times, you should really setup mailing list software such as PHPlist (available through your control panel). Software like this has a "throttling" mechanism that automatically sends a set number of emails every hour, so you can comfortably send messages to a large number of addresses without overloading the server and without reaching your hourly limit.

And in case you're wondering, no, you cannot change the number you can send per hour. This is a server setting on our end. That said, on the rare occasion we have adjusted this for certain accounts, but only after we've verified they have a proper confirmed opt-in mailing list in place. Also, no, the system will not send the emails that were halted (which is the point of the limit.) You'll need to send to those emails again.
